Service Description

Offers programs that provide men with an opportunity to connect with one another, develop new skills and establish friendships that make their transition easier, including:

  • For Men Ony – provides resources and support to immigrant men using cultural mediation strategies to strengthen families. Sessions consist of an hour spent cooking, followed by an information session or presentation based on the participants needs and interests.

  • Men’s Recreational Club – promotes sporting and recreational to newcomer men.
  • Men’s Gardening – provides stress relief and promote self-esteem through hands-on gardening. It fosters socialization, communication skills, and healthy living.

Eligibility

Immigrant and refugee men.
