Service Description
Provides supportive, long-term homes for at-risk youth, ages 12 to 16. Ten residential homes area available.
Offers:
- Safe, drug and alcohol free, family environment with 24/7 trained support staff
- Housing support for parents and their children
- Transportation to school, work, medical appointments etc.
- Counselling
- Connections to community supports
- Support dogs
- Family support.
Eligibility
At-risk Females - 12 to 23 years of age At-risk Males - 12 to 18 years of age.
Application Process
Referrals:
- Ministry of Social Services
- Mental Health and Addictions Workers
- School staff
- Self-referrals
- Each referral is reviewed and assessed for immediate risk and needs of the youth.
