Employment in the Community Programs

Provides youth with a number of employment opportunities in the community. Youth gain employment, safety, life, social and leadership skills.

• Action to Employment – Provides youth living in EGADZ residential programs to obtain employment while giving back to the community. Employs at-risk youth and young mothers to provide seasonal yard care services to seniors and other individuals in the community that need support. Full-time, part-time and casual available.
• Action to Employment Construction Crew – Youth and young adults repair and refurbish Sask Housing units, gaining experience that will be valuable in their future careers. Offers youth an opportunity to use “sweat equity” to pay their damage deposit and grow their savings.
