Service Description

Long-term faith-based transitional housing program for single mothers

  • 12 homes with stays ranging from 2-5 years

Eligibility

Single mothers who are pregnant, have dependent children, or are working to regain custody of their children, must 

  • have household income below Saskatchewan Household Income Maximum (SHIM) limits with low assets
  • be Canadian citizens, permanent resident applicants, or refugee claimants (no enforceable removal orders)
  • have no ownership of suitable housing
  • be able to live independently, care for themselves and children without major support
  • be willing to follow community rules, house policies, and safety expectations in a Christian-guided environment (faith activities optional)
  • be of no safety risk to others

Note: priority given to survivors of family/domestic abuse, those at risk of homelessness, or those exiting emergency shelter, supportive housing, or transitional housing resources seeking to continue stability
