Service Description

A community based program that offers information, education, advocacy, and support in clients’ homes, Saskatoon collegiates, West Winds Primary Health Centre, and other venues.

  • Offers milk, prenatal supplements, and CHEP fruit and vegetable vouchers for pregnant teens and women whose incomes are inadequate to meet basic daily requirements.
  • Strives to be respectful and sensitive to the cultural differences of its clients and their families.
  • Works collaboratively with many other programs within the health region.

Eligibility

Pregnant teens and women living in the community with risk factors such as: food insecurity, low income, isolation, substance use, inadequate housing, mental health issues, or abusive relationships.
Pregnant and parenting students attending the Saskatoon collegiates.
