Child Care
Provided by: Northwest Child Development Centre

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 75 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted. 

Parents are required to participate in two mandatory fundraisers a year.

• Goal is to provide the highest quality of care for children while maintaining licensing standards.

Programs and Activities

• Educators offer a combination of flexible and structured programming, while promoting a positive self-esteem and a sense of belonging.
• Children are exposed to a variety of learning opportunities, in small and large groups, both in the centre and on excursions.
• Mandate is to learn through play and each individual child’s needs are recognized and they are able to learn, grow, and play in a safe, warm, caring environment.

Nutrition

• Provide two nutritious snacks and lunch during the daily program in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide and Licensing standards.
• Chefs provide kid friendly meals and make as many homemade edibles as possible.
