Service Description
Outreach:
Saskatoon Fire Department – Community Support (306-382-6935)
Conducts regular patrols on foot and by vehicle to identify individuals at risk and offer support in finding shelter. Accept calls informing about individuals in need of support.
- Monday – Sunday: 8:00 am – 9:15 pm
- Broadway, Riversdale, and Downtown business improvement districts.
Does not provide transportation.

Leisure Centres: provide a space to cool down in times of extreme heat. Offers public water fountains or filling stations (except the Saskatoon Field House – cooling space only).

Spray Pads: open from June 1 to September 2 – operate from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
All spray pad locations offer button-activated water play from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm when the Extreme Heat Emergency Response Plan is activated.
- Indoor water fountains are available during Summer Play Program hours – visit website for hours of operation.
* If the spray pad is located next to a school, the water is turned off during recess and lunch breaks.

Paddling pools: open from June 2 to August 21.
