Service Description
In partnership with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (Labour Market Services) offers Career and Employment Preparation workshops to support successful integration into the labour market.
Workshops include education and training in:
- Skills development
- Canadian workplace culture
- Resume writing
- Job search techniques
Participants may also complete the following courses to enhance their employment readiness:
- Computer Training
- First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
Eligibility
- Newcomers residing in Canada within the last five years - 16 years or older - Permanent Resident, Open Work Permit holder, or a recent Canadian Citizen (within the last five years)
