Service Description

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 15 children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy not accepted.

Philosophy

  • Recognize all the children’s unique personalities and help them grow and learn.
  • Problem solve together, deal with the issue before moving forward.
  • Explain and consistently review on daily basis how their actions can impact their peers or even themselves. 

Programs and Activities

  • Have daily schedule that they follow to teach the children routine.
  • Lots of free play as well as one on one time with educators, teaching to wait patiently.
  • Promoting and expressing the importance of independence as well as working well with others.

Nutrition

  • Offer all food groups from the Canada food guide.
  • All items prepared are homemade and from scratch as well as sugar free.
  • Always encourage children to try it  before stating they dislike something.
  • Variety of options during meal times as some do not always like everything.

Fees

Offers full-time, part-time, casual, drop-in spaces.
Full-time (Monday - Friday 8.5 hours per day): Toddlers $37 per day, Preschool/School-Age $32 per day. When over 8.5 hours a day, overtime is calculated at 1.5% of the hourly rate.
Part-time (Minimum 4 hours per day): Preschool $6 per hour for 1st child, $5 per hour for 2nd child, $4 per hour for 3rd child. Toddler $7 per hour.
Casual/Drop-in (Less than 4 hours per day): Preschool $7 per hour for 1st child, $8 per hour for 2nd child, $9 per hour for 3rd child. Toddler $10 per hour.
Child Care Subsidy not accepted.
